Use usb port to access internet via ethernet cable?

I travel overseas frequently, but prefer not to take my laptop. My 6800 typically provides all the computing, e-mail access and voip functions I need.

However, at many overseas hotels, wireless internet access is non-existent, or very spotty. Often the only web access is via a wired ethernet RJ45 connector. Is there a way to use the 6800's mini USB port to access the web through that RJ45 cable?

I have the necessary adapters and hardware to make the connections...but since it doesn't work, I'm obviously missing a software component.

The mini USB connector for the Mogul is to interact with a computer via USB port. You can not make a cable and connect to the ethernet jack and get internet. What you can do is get an inexpensive access point, plug it to the ethernet jack and connect to the mogul via WiFi, no PC required.
