Im telling you now it isnt a reg issue. Ive carried the same ROM and apps for a long time and never had an issue. However, I do text massive amounts and can promise you it the hardware related. At least on mine...

Weedahoe is correct...absolutely not a ROM issue. It is a known hardware issue. Only fix is hardware swap.
