ActiveSync erased my contacts =(

Hola

As the title stated Active Sync erased all my contacts from my 6800. My pim.vol file seems to be in tact because it's about 500mb. Anyone know how to restore the contacts? I've been told to do a soft reset, which didn't work. I've been told to copy the file out of the root directory save it somewhere else then put it back, which didn't work. Just like everyone here my contacts are very important to me (I need to be able to contact my poontang lol) Anyway if anyone has any solution please point me in that direction.
