Boe, "I'll be happy to supply you with a list of phones not made by HTC that work well."
Please post list of phones. Alltel only has this one and the treo 700w. I carried the 650 for awile and really liked it but since ive had my 6700 and 6800, I really like the keyboards. I just want the bluetooth to work right and it would be a perfect phone. I use the excell alot and wouldn't like to give up WM now that ive used it. But if there is a nother CDMA phone out there that works better than this I would like to know what it is. As for now i've given up on my headset. Although i may tri the wired one that came with the phone, "ugh". Alan PS: Since ive upgraded my titan to WM6 my ringer volume is very quiet how do I get it to ring louder? 6800 - Bluetooth Mic or Phone Mic
When pressing the button on the Bluetooth, it activates the voice command. What I don't get is why the pick up is through the phone's microphone and not the Bluethooth's microphone.
It would be better to use the microphone form the Bluetooth to avoid getting errors from the noisy environment picked up by the microphone on the phone. Most good Bluetooths have some sort of noise canceling technology. Is there a way to force the pick up to be from the Bluetooth mic instead of from the phone mic or is there a fix or software for this? |

HTC says they can't fix the issue
For the heck of it since we haven't heard from Sprint, I sent another e-mail to HTC - this seemed pretty direct - Sprint won't allow HTC to help fix the issue -
FROM HTC We know it is important for you to use all the functions of your device properly. We will do our best to help you with this information. As you are aware, HTC America is not authorized to support Sprint Mogul customers at the request of your service provider. ... We are only authorized to host the software updates that they provide. |
|
||||
Next Sprint will be blaming MS for not providing them with stable software. The blame game continues and the suckers who wasted $$$$ on the Mogul get hosed. Wonderful.

I have alltel. When I called them yesterday, the rep said that she did not see any Bluetooth issues for this PDA. So, Alltel customers, call in and get them aware of the problem.
I also went to turn in that inquiry on HTC's site and it would not let me select the model, and therefore would not let me submit the inquiry. I wonder if they broke the form on purpose. |
