re:bluetooth fade on 6800
I have tried , jawbone, wep 200, bt 800 jabra.....the winner is scala 800. I got it at tigerdirect.com. No fade and people can finally hear me. Plus it has other cool features. I also have very wierd ears so I combine with a jabra ear-gel for the perfect fit. Hope this helps.M

I doubt you will find any headset resolves your issue completely. Either they need a firmware update to resolve it or they need to replace our defective phones.

Has anyone called HTC or Sprint about the potential firmware update? I just called HTC 866-449-8358 and the person had read about the issue on various forums but said all he had was rumor - nothing official from HTC even acknowledging the issue or a firmware upadate. I just called Sprint 1-800-927-2199 and they insist they don't do anything related to BT support and that the issues were resolved with the patch that came out a while back (the thing that let sprint try and sell you music and f's up your keyboard)

I have the Moto H700 but I don't use it often because I need the noise cancellation in the car. It actually seems to pair really well, even if i have the boom closed and open it when I get a call it connects right away. Like I said though I don't use it often. I've use the Jawbone for about a year and everyone hears me great. I have Alltel 6800 with the wm6 update.
However I too have it disconnect sometimes. I can place a call and the icon will be on indicating it's connected but then when the call connects it goes away. When I go to comm. manager it shows bluetooth off. Sometimes the BT light will still be flashing until I go into the manager. By the way if anyone is interested in the jawbone check tigerdirect, the store here had a great price, $89.99. |

I've used the Logitech Mobile Traveler BT Headset, which worked perfect on my 6700, but sounds choppy on my Mogul. I also recently purchased the Samsung WEP410, which is specifically BT 2.0, which I thought since the Mogul is BT 2.0 capable, it would make for a nice pairing. Unfortunately, it doesn't.
That's two more headsets down off the diminishing list of capable BT headsets for the Mogul. |

Sprint needs to change their features list for the Mogul to this: Bluetooth - Almost -Polen |

I will say, that after I flashed the Alltel ROM last night (dcd's latest ROM http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=10017) I am finally able to use my BT Moto H700 headset. I was bout to can this damn phone after getting ZERO support for the good features that seem to suck. But I have found new life for my phone. I do still have the Sprint 1.32 radio too.
