Incoming SMS not showing contact name

My old Mogul broke so I got a new one, and backed up my contacts using Sprite Backup and then restored them on the new phone (on which I'm using a custom ROM built with the Kitchen). But now, when I receive text messages, they show up with the phone number, instead of the contact name, when it is someone in my contacts list.

Does anyone have any idea how to correct this? My initial thought was that it might have been because I included Icontact in the custom ROM, but I have no idea if that's close or how to test the theory.

Thanks.

Don't let customizations run.

Re: Incoming SMS not showing contact name

Try hard-resetting and instead of using Sprite backup to restore the contacts, enter one or two manually and see if the name shows up. If so, your problem persists in Sprite Backup configuring outlook on your phone. If not, try removing Icontact from your kitchen. One of these might pinpoint your problem. Also make sure you have the latest version of Icontact.

You can try one or two manually before trying another hard reset....
