Anyone have a clue with my Comm Manager looks like this...

When it should look like this?

I have tried both available CABs and I could have sworn it displayed fine before.

I'm thinking it could be an issue with having both the dialer and the comm manager from the HTC Touch since the text on the comm manager looks a lot like the one from the dialer...

Well I hard reset, restored to a backup before installing all the HTC Touch plugins, and then installed the HTC Touch plugins in this order...

1.- Comm Manager
2.- Dialer
3.- Today plugin
4.- Spb Mobile Shell

And as of right now, my Comm Manager is back to normal. It was probably a corrupted install or something like that. I also decided to actually close ActiveSync while I ran the HTC Touch's CABs... just in case!

Well I'll be darned... I checked the Comm Manager after each install and everything was ok, then I started fixing my settings and everything, I opened the comm manager and found THIS!

It's not as bad as the other one, but WTH is going on and how do I fix it?

I can't believe I did not remember this... WeatherPanel IS to blame. If anyone had a WM Treo, you may remember what happens when you use the Default theme and then place a call... that's right, you get the blocky text from my first issue, it's just smaller and that's why I did not see the resemblance.

On the second time, it uses another font from WP's default theme as well... I guess it was random which one was picked.

Just remove both TTF files from the Marsware\WeatherPanel\Themes\Default folder and the text will go back to normal!!!

Thanks for a user at XDA for remind me of this!

I think this was a worthwhile install - I felt like something had been taken away when I went from WM5AKU 3.5 to WM6 - now it has been restored

Cool, mine is doing the same thing. Which TTF files did you remove from the theme?

Anyone having problems using the comm manager to turn on BT? I get a loading icon that never finishes, soft reset, and headset does not connect. Then I delete the headset profile and when I try to add it again it says the password is incorrect... so after another soft reset I can finally add the headset again.

Turning BT by going to Settings - Connection - BT works fine and instantly.
