Well I have not seen any more looping soft reset, and I have sof reset through 3rd party apps (Spb Shell's Spb Menu).

At this time, I have not installed iLauncher again due to me suspecting to be the cause of previous issues as you all know (that or Sprite Backup, although Sprite is more likely).

While I had iLauncher installed, I did have the option checked to offer Safe Mode after 2 soft resets within 2 minutes, or whatever that option is.

Also, at this time with all my apps installed... I see the Sprint Logo animation and HTC splash screen, like it should be as far as I know.

Keep up the good reports everyone!

My alarms will not sound for some reason now. Whether it is plugged in or not, the alert will not sound. Once I turn the device on the alarm then triggers.....

I just figured out what makes the Sprint logo animation and HTC splah screen disappear... well not quite exactly.

I don't know if anyone ran SK Tools yet, but there's TONS of weird files and registry values/entries that SK Tools reports as safe to erase. Since I'm planning on hard resetting to try and fix the issue I have with the HTC Touch Comm Manager I figured I'd let SK Tools erase them all to check for weird behavior.

So what happens after I eare everything and soft reset... no Sprint logo animation and no HTC splash screen. Good thing I thought of saving the lists of erased items... anyone recognize anything?

The looping resets were fixed when I pulled my 2gb Kingston card out.... so that poster was right. I have heard from a friend that MSFT is aware of the issue on the Wing on TMobile with 2gb cards..... and there either was or is a fix coming.

Weird thing is, I have not had any more looping or double soft resets after I hard reset and decided not to install iLauncher and switch from Sprite to Spb Backup.

I have not removed my SD card either at all... still using the 512 MB included, which has proven to be very handy.

The dll will not show up in your Start Up Folder, The only way to get at it (that I know of) is through MemMaid. And this is a by defualt with iLauncher, I never activated it either.

FYI, I updated my pervious post with the dll name, and a little more info.
I should have been a little clearer in explanation. I was looking in ghte startup tab within Memmaid, not the folder \Windows\Startup. Also, when I installed iLauncher, I imported my settings file, thsu the reason why safemode was not activated in my situation.

FYI, I have iLauncher installed and so far not problems with looping resets. I have used iLauncher's soft reset function as well as pushing the button at the bottom of the device and so far so good.

Ah, OK! Well I hope to get some conformation that my method works. I have had only one looping reset since then, but I think it was PhoneAlarm related.

I performed a hard reset, reinstalling all my programs and the hard resets and random lockups stopped. My device has been rock solid for the last two days.

Yeah my device has been perfect this last few days without iLauncher (but I miss it!!!) and, of course, without Sprite.

Someone at SprintUsers said that the looping soft reset issue was a known iLauncher issue... not my words and and I did not find anything on the SBSH forums, just sharing what I read.
