Updated: 02/05 - NO LONGER WORKING on Sprint - Real Picture Mail (PicMail, MMS)

when i select a picture through the new pix message, is there a way I can have my contact list show up? or will i need to automatically enter the number each time?

EDIT: nvm, i found out that if u tap the TO: next to the TO: dialog box, it brings up your contacts.


also, is there a way to differentiate between the two MMS titles? I realize one says NEW PIX MESSAGE, but is there a way to make the one that just says "MMS" say NEW FLIX MESSAGE?

Normal install, but when u take the video do it in Video MMS mode... and then send. Yea it does take a lil while going to email, i noticed that as well. To a phone it is *normaly* within a few minutes

If someone sends you a picture are you able to click the link and view the picture? Or is this like the 6700 and you'll get thrown to the Sprint Desktop webpage where you'll see the thumbnail and you can't use the buttons? Treo users didn't havet his issue because of their AKU. This only happened if you used any of the custom ROMS which were higher then 2.2. T.I.A.

The simple instal cab is the only thing I installed on the 6800 and immediately the D-pad went bonkers. Started scrolling on it's own. It now doesn't work at all. Removed MMS and now the D-Pad works beautifully. Has anyone else experienced this?


BTW, pix and vid mail worked wonderfully.

i guess since i have absolutely no good ideas you can dump your registry after a hard reset and compare it to someone elses who doesnt have the problem.

Oops, I had a bunch of threads open in firefox, and I was trying to be helpful on a different one. I knew I mis-posted when I went to check the status of the other thread and didnt see my response. I just had no idea where I wrote this.

is there a reason why it is not working for me?

i see the send dialogue, and I am even able to send it, but the picture does not show up on my picturemail account NOR does the person i send it to receive it.

anyone know what's up?
