For once I'm taking the honors from Malatesta :wink:

Anyway, I know close to nobody has the device yet, however, some users will get it tomorrow... so use this thread to let us know what it looks like stock or what it looks like.

If you'd like, also post what's on the Today screen so other users know where to get it if they like it!

lol, way to jump the gun Pibe. I am gonna guess that they will look a lot like a 6700 Today screen, but with shiny top and bottom bars. Regardless, it was coming sooner or later. :D :D :D

God that is fugly :D . BTW, is the top bar always a "matte" unlike the bottom bar? Have you tried other themes to see if you get matching bars?

Also, apparently you have some reading to catch up on with your headlines

I don't remember if the Sprint theme is always like that but I'm using the Windows Default theme and my top and bottom bars match.

The WM Green one does seem to be 3D, don't know why the Sprint one looks like that.

omg where to u get ur themes and all that pretty stuff.. mines all plain and I HATE the battery icon at the mid-level of the screen.. ugh! plss help me out here. .. ps im a ppc noob so go easy on me :oops:

do those 3.5-style arrows light up when the connection is active, as opposed to the 3.5 arrows on the 6700? if so, that's a nice little touch :D

e-dub yes they do... as all proper Sprint-customized OSs do (Sprint mandates those active/idle arrows for every phone they sell--you may be surprised to know that GSM pocket PCs don't get that nice feature).

So the reason why we lost that functionality on the Apache with AKU 3.x is because the OS we used was sourced from a GSM device.

Oh, and I imagine the Sprint theme's non-matching bars has something to with the theme not being designed for WM6.

Which RSS program are you using (I'm thinking of the "Headlines" plugin)?

@jamesus: I'm using Iliumsoft's Newsbreak 2.0, got it for $5.00 a couple of weeks ago during their 10th anniversary sale. I love it!!!

@e-dub: as luv2chill explained, yes they do.

@nosbabe88: The actual green theme came with the Mogul. And I guess I forgot to add what apps I'm running, thanks for reminding me... I will edit my post above...

And finally, you can remove or move that battery meter on your Today screen, it is part of the HTC plugin on the Mogul. Just go to Settings - Today and then highlight the HTC plugin and click on the Move Up or Down buttons.

I just removed it by unchecking it because I felt it was a waste of space.

Home Plug today Screen - > You will need to install this one in your device.. no memory card.. You will have the weather option, The clock in the main screen and the abiltiy to add shortcuts to run applications.

HTC WMP plugin - > To have the WMP in your home screen. You will be able to play your music without openin your WMP

HT Default - > Theme to match the colors in your screen *.tsk

@flipside... the black TSK is posted in the Themes section (Classic Black) and the rest is the e202 skin for WA2

You guys aren't having problems with WA2? i heard it was a dog on WM6 and didn't even want to bother with it.

That's the new roaming indicator... Sprint is moving to that standard on all their new handsets (it goes along with the new 6XXXX PRL numbering for those who are wondering about that).

looks good... too bad slide2unlock is such a ram hog... :( i wish the phone came with 96 or 128mb. I can't believe how much ram is taken up as soon as the phone is booted.

You mean the TSK, the WA2 theme or the WP theme?

the tsk is classic black (found in r themes section)
the Wa2 is e202 by juvs (found in the lakeridger forums or i can post it)
the wp is of course storyrs commuter theme

all work on wm5 yes check the treo board to see it running on my treo

How do you get the audio plugin? installed the audio manager, but not showing on the today screen.

was it tough to put on? or does that cab file have all the reg stuff too now?
