Did the comm manager work for you? It's the only HTC Touch app I haven't installed.

Ha! Then why do I keep trying to fix everything??? :)

stroths 06-26-2007 12:26 PM

The comm manager works for me. I use it and the home plugin, but haven't used the other cabs from the Touch.

Thanks Pibe! I agree with the analogy, just look at my sig.

@ wow - OK, thanks! What are the differences with the two? I know Bruce has been busy, but I have lost track with all the updates he has done.

EDIT: I found the build history on the PA site.

Pibe38 06-26-2007 01:08 PM

Well I do tweak a lot too budney, but when it comes to PA... I'm a little more careful

Check the comm manager thread, it is fixed... it was those 2 font files from WeatherPanel that also caused the blocky text on the in-call screen on the Treo 700.

It's just that because it looked bigger I did not recognize it... and the cursive text is also the other font used on the default theme of WP.

I have the HTC Touch comm manager, today plugin and dialer. I don't really use my device for music, so the audio manager does nothing for me.

H1 06-26-2007 01:27 PM

I do listen to music, but I need my screen space,.. Hence, audio plugin was removed. Installed the HTC X-Button as well, just what I needed. All I need is a nice battery meter!

I'm sure I'm missing it but can somebody please tell me how to get the audio control plugin on the home screen?

Can all of this stuff besides the HTC Touch be used on the 6700?

I've still got the original today screen.

I had no IDEA you could customize it like THIS!

Incredible!

*wipes drool from desk* ;)

u can run all this on a 6700 because i have it as we speak. i dont know if u need WM6 on it, but there is software to make your 6700 look like the ones seen here. PM me if u want that info. lets keep it strictly titan ;)

love the black theme, where can i get this!!! What skind did you use for pa and which plugin does the picture view?

TheGhost1 06-27-2007 06:08 PM

Pardon my naiveté, but how do you put new themes onto the 6800? Is it the way that was done on the 6700? just moving a .tsk file into the right directory and selecting it?

gameboy213 06-27-2007 08:49 PM

Yep

Pibe38 06-27-2007 09:27 PM

@hit93: The black Today theme TSK file can be found on the Themes forum under Classic Black.

Now, the top and bottom bars are actually done with Wisbar Advance. And I believe the PA skin is a custom one.

wowthatisrandom 06-28-2007 03:33 PM

heres the latest... had to ditch wa2 memory hog...

gameboy213 06-28-2007 04:53 PM

Yeah... wisbar is a memory hog... I have always Loved what it can do.... but it does drag the device down in my experience. I love WisDesktop or whatever it is called too.... but same problem... so I stay basic.

meburton 06-30-2007 03:00 PM

I'm new to the pocket pc world. This is my screen with no rain in the area and with the radar if there is. I live in central Texas, so the radar's been pretty active lately.

Nice to see someone from the austin/roundrock area. What radar program are you using?

Pibe38 07-01-2007 11:11 AM

That's Marsware's WeatherPanel, check the software forum for it.

borealcool 07-02-2007 02:42 AM

Got the HTC stuff installed on my Telus P4000 which is a Mogul running WM5

They did a kickass job on the dialer, but unfortunately the Home Plugin isn't working for me. The audio plugin, new CommManager and dialer worked, but I'm guessing MW5 is why Home isn't... :?

H1 how did your install go down, did you simply reboot into the new HTC Home or did you have to activate it somehow?

I ran across something similar to the HTC home plug that someone made for WM5 at http://rotlaus-software.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=445

You might also check the Apache forum here since it runs WM5 as someone might have gotten it working.

illusvfyre 07-02-2007 02:11 PM

Curious, anyone know if there is a way to set the weather button on the HTC Home plugin to display the weather panel data instead of accuweather?

evilecho 07-02-2007 03:54 PM

heres my final screen....i think im gonna keep this for a while....

Here's my Today screen. Question though, does anyone know if there is an app the will give me just the Digital CLock that comes with the HTCTouch?

http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x...74/Titan_1.jpg

mikemobility 07-03-2007 03:19 PM

I installed the HTC Home (launcher, weather panel, etc.) and the HTC Touch theme, but I found that it slowed my system down a lot. Did anyone else notice this? It's a lot faster running on the default windows theme, I find.
