my 6800 wont go to landscape.

My phone has been working fine up to this point and today earlier today i had no issue then out of the blue when i would slide my keyboard out and the screen was to go to landscape it would get really choppy and was really really slow. then i reset it 2 times and know it wont go to landscape at all. but when i close the keyboard it goes to landscape then back to the other way. But when they keyboard is out it wont go to landscape what do i need to do to fix this. THANKS PS. If i click on the icon for it to go to landscape it does. but if the keyboard slides out it wont.
