What is metropcs?

I've been reading, but haven't found anythign explicitly explaining it. I get that it's a network or unlimited calling in major cities for like 40$ a month. Is that the only advantage? Doesn't sero still trump that for most people?

Metropcs owns all their own towers. They are the Southwest of the carriers.

Metro PCS is a cellphone carrier that offers unlimited calling for a fixed price. They recently started flashing phones from other carriers to use on their networks. You used to have to buy their crappy phones... but alot has changed.

They have limited coverage- but rapidly expanding, but that is outweigh by its unlimited minutes, unlimited text, unlimited internet fixed price.

As a Tmobile employee we had focus group for these up coming local services that offer these plan for example MetroPCS, Cricket, Frawg, etc. but thing thing is as they expand they have to pay these bigger companies more money because they bum of thier[major companies] towers (even though they own towers in the states that they currently in but that will change) most of the time so eventually they will be having price right around the 99.99 for unlimited just like Sprint and Tmobile... Hey what can I say THATS BUISNESS....

What it means is that those carriers rent space. Metro owns the towers.

Also, unlike Sprint, Metropcs is a profitable company.

That is a lie about Metropcs. Metro does not use anybody else's towers. They own every one. Sprint on the other hand, rents, as do the others. Saying that will change is supposition, and goes against their corporate mission.

So this shows you what to believe when a salesperson disses another vendor.
