Side switch question

Does anyone know if there's any way to remap the wifi switch to something else, like to bluetooth or a flashlight or something? I literally NEVER use the wifi & I'd love to be able to make that switch useful.

If you are comfortable with unlocking and reflashing your ROM, you can upgrade to no2chem's nueROM. Built within his ROM is the ability to assign just about any executable to the wifi switch. Information on his ROM can be found in this thread ...

if your running a custom rom from the kitchen START/SETTING/SYSTEM there should be a "hardware switch" click on it and see what you can do.

Yeah, I tried neurom already but went back to the stock rom cause I was having some lockup problems on it. Isn't there some way to install JUST the switch part?

have you tried the PPC kitchen? thats what i use to flash my phone and rarely have any issues.

Yeah I'm going to eventually cook up my own rom, I just don't have the time currently. Thats why I'm hoping someone can just link me to a cab for the switch.

You can use "nueWiFi Switch". I tried looking for the cab for you but can't seem to locate it. It is an OEM in the kitchen, which is where I got it...

Build a custom ROM in the kitchen. It's the best route you can go. I have tried every pre made ROM and it is no where near my custom ROM.

Try this.... Put the reg file in the zip file in the location given. I dont know if it will work but I pulled it from the nuerom-M. Letmeknow how it works.
