Data Connection Issue

I have a sprint mogul. For some reason the data connection (I have unlimited data) keeps connecting from time to time, not always. This started happening about two weeks ago, I changed no settings. I only want data on when I need it to save battery power. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you saying it isnt connected and at some point it auto connects without you knowing? If so then I would be checking my other app settings because something somewhere is needing that connection. It could be a weather app, an IM, email, GPS updates, ECT.

Or are you saying you cannot connect? And if thats the case, what is the error message?

Thanks for your response. The data just turns on and I have to go to comm manager to turn it off. It does not seem to be associated with any particular program, I checked them all to only start manually.

I promise you something in an app somewhere is requesting that connection to be made.

I know, you are probably correct. I only have to determine which one. FYI, it hasn't done it in a few days. Go figure.

I have my mail set to send and receive at 6am (when I get up) and my weather also. This is done daily.
