Re: Possibly Bricked HTC6800 (alltel)
Thanks for your input. Search is my friend, I spent four hours today searching. I have tried that exit thing first, but my computer does not recognize the usb connection. The only way I can flash anything is via SD card. If there is a way to use the exit rar on the sd card please let me know. I am a noob I admit, but I tried searching prior to posting...

Re: Possibly Bricked HTC6800 (alltel)
Ok so I managed to get it out of tricolor by continuing to reflash and restart. Now it seems to be restarting properly and not going to reboot, BUT it is still not being recognized by mobile center. It was recognized under the "safley remove hardware tab" as HTC usb sync, but neither seen in my computer folder or the mobile center. Whats the deal?

Re: Possibly Bricked HTC6800 (alltel)
Yes it is off. I have seen several posts with people with the same issue and everyone always thinks thats the problem. The computer reads the phone as a malfunctioned device and will not connect to it. therefore anything involving exiting bootloader via USB is out of the question. Sometimes I can get it to load windows and it boots up like a new phone, but after it customizes as it is suppose to on first bootup it restarts in bootloader again.

Re: Possibly Bricked HTC6800 (alltel)
Ok this is weird. After flashing with the newest ROM, I can get it to load up correctly until i restart and it goes back into bootlader. But if I leave it alone for over an hour and come back it will load up again normally AND CONNECT VIA USB! Yet upon restarting it goes into bootloader again and will not come out until i leave it off for any hour or so and turn it back on. WTF?

Re: Possibly Bricked HTC6800 (alltel)
do a hard rest, then turn phone OFF and connect to the USB. the yellow charge light should come on. once that has come on wait a few seconds and turn the phone on. i had a simular problem and that actually allowed my pc to see the phone.

Re: Possibly Bricked HTC6800 (alltel)
Yea i figured that out and got it to connect, but it still restarts in bootloader. If I can connect to the USB, is there someway I can reflash the bootloader? Maybe that will fix it?
