Selling my Mogul, how do I reset everything back to normal?

Is there a code that I can put through to get it to factory stock form before selling it?

You can hard reset. Push and hold the 2 soft keys and hit the reset button, a screen should come up that says restore. follow the prompts from there. Or in the settings you can select "clear storage"

thanks i went ahead and did the hard reset. scary knowing that someone can just pick my phone up and reset it like that...

+1 on the Hard Reset.. This will erase everything on the phone.. No personal data, files, or customizations of yours will be on the phone after a Hard Reset.. Completely stock..

You could always put a lock code onto it Trace.. So that anybody who picks it up has to input the code before they can access the phone... I think they can still do a Hard Reset but then they will have a phone with no personal files on it..

If you want it "factory stock," the question remains as to whether you are running a custom ROM. If you are, you'll need to hard reset first, relock using the Titan Relocker, and then flash a stock ROM from your carrier.

i'm pretty sure it was a stock ROM, the 6.1 ROM from HTC a few months back when it came out.

I'm thinking about going with a custom ROM for my Diamond but I'm going to read up on it more, I'm really worried about bricking the phone...

Yeah.. You are running the Stock ROM.. If you follow all the steps Trace, you will not brick your phone... And if you run into problems, you can search till you find an answer.. And if nobody has asked it, you can just post a new thread and we will try to help you out to the best we can..

ok.. big question

did the whole tp trick.. got it today..

running dcd's rom... how do i reset totally back to stock before sending it back?
i already hard reset so its clean in that respect as of a few mins ago...
