HTC PPC 6800 unlock?
Hello, i bought an HTC 6800 on ebay and i want to know if i have to unlock im to work with im in Portugal. Can anyone telme also if i can instal windows mobile in portuguese?

Just if you want to Flash a New ROM(CUSTOM) or do some changes, but read not just unlock your device read and make sure to follow the steps and read...............befor attempt any procedures. Good luck and enjoy your TITAN.

Hello and thank you for your replay. Im worried because i have purshased an HTC 6800 on ebay that is esn clear but not unlocked. I just don't know if i can use it in Portugal or if i have to unlock it. Can anyone tell me? And if theres a way to have windows mobile in portuguese?

Welcome to the forums.
First off, be sure to use the Search feature as well as Google to avoid many headaches and making repeat threads. Second, CDMA phones are not the same as GSM phones which take a SIM card. Some GSM phones are locked to a certain carrier and can only use those SIM cards, therefore they need to be unlocked to work with another carrier. CDMA phones have ESN's which are from a certain carrier's database. I'm not sure but I think most of Portugal is GSM. Meaning you can not use a CDMA one on a GSM network. So if you have a GSM carrier which takes a SIM card you are all out of luck...
