Why should I be paying for this?

Here are speedtest result from my mogul using wmodem....

Here are speedtest result from my Sprint U727 broadband modem

ive tested them numerous times and still get about the same amount of difference in speed...both have about 60% signal strength.......

I pay 60.00 for an unlimited data plan that is substantially weaker than my ppc......

can anyone relate to this or is this just a isolated event

Re: Why should I be paying for this?

Do you Seriously think that retentions would do something?

you don't know how annoying this is. i usually browse with my pc at the same time as my phone because my pc takes forever to load...and my phone is rather instant so i did this test earlier and was really surprised about the difference...i figured there might be a little bit due to the browser not having to load so much...but i really was astonished...lol...

Re: Why should I be paying for this?

have you checked the prl in the modem? also try putting the modem on a usb extension cord. I don't get rev.A unless it's by the window.

Re: Why should I be paying for this?

IDK you are guaranteed a certain speed but only a range. They will blame it on network congestion or other issues somewhat beyond thier control. But I do feel you on being upset as I would be also.

Re: Why should I be paying for this?

There should be no significant difference between the two. I would contact Sprint and ask them to reprovision your account for the U727. A difference that severe indicates an actual problem. Worst case scenario, bring your laptop with the card to the local Sprint store and show them. You won't even have to compare it to the phone.
