htc6800:Using Phone with JVC KW NX 7000

I purchased a new radio with many hopes. It has Windows Automobile platform and usb capabilities, however the blue tooth in the unit will not communicate with the phone to allow me to dial, speak and use the phone controls that are built in this unit. JVC says there are "trade secrets" that HTC will not release that will enable the JVC to properly pair up with the HTC phone. Has anyone sucessfully got their phone paired with an aftermarket radio?
