Palm messaging App on 6800/Mogul/Titan

I have both the palm threaded messaging app and the 6700 MMS app installed on my 6800. I haven't received/sent any picture mail yet, but it seems like they will both want to controll MMS. Which should i use to send and which should handle the receiving?

The receiving will always be done through regular SMS, the MMS app only sends MMS messages.

Also, the MMS portion of the Palm Threaded SMS app never worked, and since development on it stopped, it will not work. That's why you need the MMS app.

It seems it is safe to assume there currently is no way of receiving MMS on the 6800, is this correct?

I have both of these apps installed on my 6800; whenever I receive picture mail, I have to visit pictures . sprintpcs . com to view the picture.

I think that's always been the way on PPC phones.

I don't receive any type of notification when receiving texts, whether audible or vibrate. Am I missing a setting? It sucks to constantly check if I have a new text unless the phone is right in front of me...

Go to Settings and then Sound and Notifications, then look for PalmMessaging or something like that and you'll be able to edit the settings.

So removing this app through Remove Programs will clean everything? Or is a hard reset required as well as with the pre-AKU 2.3?

I can install it, but it seems that the text msgs appear in the normal text app.
