so you know that annoying message you get when you have a low battery? I wanna edit it to say something different.

How?

i would also like to stop the mogul from grabing a data connection with sprint and use only the wifi.

#1 its probably a regedit, do a search, you may find it.

#2 If you're intentionally connecting, just flip the switch before you do. If you're lookin for it to do it automatically i.e. when it checks your email... I have no clue.
