What exactly does the June 18th date mean for us??? Would we be able to order the phone from online starting June 18th....it just wouldn't be available in the stores until July 18th??? Or does it mean that they'll announce it publically on the June 18th and then the public can purchase it from online or in the stores or whatever starting July 18th??

I'm kinda confused!

I'll be blunt and say it does not mean anything until June 18th is here.
However, if these rumors are true, it means that only users with business accounts will be able to order a 6800 on this date.

Then, on July 18th (which seems a little extreme to me, a month?), users with consumer accounts will be able to order it.

Well, when the PPC-6700 first came out, if you remember, it was just on the business channel and I asked the customer service rep. how I can order it and she told me to call the Business channel and i could order it from there. And that's what happened...despite having a personal account, I got my first PPC-6700 (red sprint logo) from the business channel.

So maybe it doesn't matter what your account type is but it will only be listed on the business side of Sprint. I dunno, you may not get the $150 rebate or whatever...I don't think I got the rebate either during my 6700 purchase.

Yes you are right that we are launching Sprint Mogul 6800 and the expected date of launching the phone is June 18. The initial retail price is $549.99 and after deducting the discount of $150.00 for our customers who are more than 22 months old the price comes to $399.99.

I cannot confirm the date because of the competition in the market but yes we are launching the phone in the third week of June.

It seems strange that he can sell them when they aren't in the sprint warehouse yet. I have been checking with a buddy who works at Sprint.
