mogul update...

so i need to update tis mogul i got today with the latest rom...

can it be done via micro sd card?

or does somebody know a way to do in in ubuntu?

You can take a chance in wine, but I sure wouldn't. It needs XP or Vista for the usb + the install software is win32 based.
I normally run SuSE & haven't seen any way to pull this one off in Linux or OSx.

yeah i have beenable to get the sync to work with evolution but as far as tethering or updates are concerned...not so much

SynCE for Linux will let you connect the PDA and transfer files, sync, etc. Its supposed to allow tethering too, but I haven't managed to get it to work yet.
