If you have the Touch Pro, it needs Java... If you have a 6800, then try downloading a non signed version... They have several different versions to choose from...

Esmertec Jbed is supposed to install Java on my phone though I think. I have the 6800. I'm interested in getting java to work b/c there's another program I also want that is java. Is Esmertec Jbed not a good midlet?

you guys have helped out alot already. im glad i joined the forum. ill let you all know how the flash goes tomorrow. when i receive the phone. . im donna go with the m2d rom and see how i like it. i can alwas change it up if i want. still mad excited..

Yeah... lol... Okay... You need to unlock your 6800 to be able to update the Radio... Check out the link below for more information... It will work you through the steps...

so... so im trying to update the ROM.... the Status bar sits at "0" and then says error flashing..... is that a bad rom file?

What ROM are you using? Is it a stock ROM? If your ROM is custom or not an official Verizon ROM, you need to unlock your phone first.. Otherwise it will not work..
