Also.. Insurance? I don't know how Verizon is with their insurance, but with Sprint it's worth it..

Im def gonna get insurance.. i would be sick it anything happened to the phone

how about rom flashes??? is there anything i may want to do with that? What does the phone come stock with..Should i flash it? any reccomendations? im trying to get this under my belt so when i get it i can RAGE

Ive been reading non stop about tethering... i came to the conclution i would try WiFiRouter....? thoughts?

As far as a recomendation, DCD 3.2.6 or 3.3.4 both are very snappy and stable 3.3.4 gives you 1-2 more MB at boot than 3.2.6. I would also run radio 3.42.50 as its been the best I've used so far. But make sure you READ THE GUIDE! lol.

Why not wait for the Touch Pro to come out for Verizon? It's a better phone at this point. Don't get me wrong, 6800s are great phones. But if you can get something newer and better why not?

Money is a factor in that.. or i would. im just going to get back into the ppc with this phone.. the wife would kill me if i spent more than i did, lol..

Don't let the naysayers get you down, the 6800 is a great phone. I have two of them & I love them. I also have a Sprint TouchPro activated on verizon & I like it a lot too, but I badly miss all the hardware buttons of the 6800 when I'm using the TP.

One of my 6800's is running nueROM3 & the other is running dcd 3.3.4. They both run flawlessly running a TON of apps, the nueROM allows you to disable the camera at times to gain more free memory. Both ROMS unlock the gps running the 3.42.5 radio.

im searching. but do u know offhand where i can look into the dcd 3.3.4 rom.. and what it offers? i cant find a thread anywhere. maybe im just tired. lol.. i was looking into the TITAN M2D ROM http://www.scottcrosler.com/
