Problem during cooking the rom

I'm working off of a Windows Vista and I'm trying to cook the ROM of a HTC Titan with BuildOS.

The building process is fine but once I get to the ROM Update Utility to "update" the ROM with the newly prepared one my computer no longer recognizes my phone through the USB and that makes me get a "error communicating" error.

I don't know how to have it so that my computer recognizes the phone once its in the process of updating the ROM. After I do a soft-reset and plug it back in, Microsoft Mobile Device Center recognizes it just fine without any hassles.

Please any suggestions, tutorials, comments would be greatly appreciated.

Read that link. If you have Vista x64 you'll have to Google around for x64 drivers but that link will get it fixed for you. Also I would install ReadyDriver Plus too.
