Help with wifi or wmwifirouter

ok i've been reading and looking around for a way to connect my ps3 to my phones internet service using wifi. i saw something about wmwifirouter and was wondering how does that work i went to the website it seem to be some foreign type deal and i'm a little skeptical about putting it on my phone and computer. but i was wondering if it's any FREE... ones out there or if that's the only one or if it's any other way to connect to the internet on my ps3 via my phone i have alltel's ppc 6800 which is the same as the other one like sprints and who ever else who has it so if someone please could help me out yeah i'm still new to this whole ppc thing and if any of yall have any other information for me like things to do on my phone like agps don't know how to get that to work where i can use google maps and live search. and any other cool programs would be greatly appreciated. sorry for the long post

I've never used wmwifirouter, so i'm not sure if it'll work for what you're trying to do. I just figured out how to connect my phone via usb to my ps3 to play tunes, so don't feel to bad. lol.

You can't connect directly from PS3 to WMWifiRouter. You have to first connect laptop to WMWifiRouter to get internet connection. Then, you bridge your laptop to your PS3. For all other answers, search this forum. It has TONS of helpful information that anybody can use.

well what about if i use an ICS from my computer is that possible does any one know how to do that if so please help me i've been searching and i found someone said you can do it with a 360 but i don't know how i think i'm missing one or two steps i've set it up but i can get a connection to my ps3

I use WMWifirouter and works good, i connect my laptop and my wireless Printer without problems.

P.S. I use a free version.
