Re: The Last Stand (Force a Mogul Recall)
why did you pay 50 dollars for a problem with your keyboard? i took my mogul to a repair center they changed the whole housing(outside case, screen, keyboard) for free with TEP insurance....They didnt have to even erase anything i had everything on phone as it was when i walked in the store.

I've just recently seen people talking about getting an upgrade because their locations were out of Moguls. There have been an increasing number of people that are getting upgrades just because they've switched out a number of refurbs. The more people that do this the sooner we can all get the upgrade. |

I'm not saying the Mogul doesn't have problems, it obviously does. But go to any forum and you'll find a post where someone is complaining about their device. The people with problems are the ones who usually post to vent and try to resolve their issues. So you're more likely to see a post about complaints than praise. If you have a problem with your device you have every right to complain about it and to try to get the problem resolved. You paid good money for it. I'd be pissed too if there was something screwed up with my Mogul. But after almost 18 months of heavy use I have yet to have any problems, no white spots, no keyboard issues, nothing. |

Re: The Last Stand (Force a Mogul Recall)
I think I am going to have to call you on that one. What is your definition of heavy use? No white spot with heavy use, come on, and don't even try to tell me that your keyboard didn't read only some of the keys that you pressed unless you are typing like my grandmother who has to search for each and every key no matter how many times she has pressed the same button she will still look for it. I am no master qwerty user but I know where the keys are which allows me to type at a decent speed and the keyboard lag has me guessing if its gonna pick it up or not. That was my moguls(plural) straight out of the box. The lock ups are rediculous. I have had to reset all the moguls at least 3 times a day because something decides it doesn't want to work properly. I like my mogul when it works

As for whining, just look at the ones that are defending at all costs here, especially the guy that didn't believe the Mogul had white spots and kept demanding proof without evening doing a little research of his own...and when I did respond I gave two links each with plenty of proof of existence of the white spots. Re: The Last Stand (Force a Mogul Recall)
and that guy...whom stalks this thread, but has stated in another thread that his first 6800 had the white spots straight out of the box...he went on to say that his next one didn't have the problem just yet. No big deal, just goes to show that even if 100% of the phones have something faulty (perhaps the battery) it's not always showing up right away, and if it's the battery (for instance) causing the problems then I suppose those that use a different battery than stock wouldn't ever see the problem... but someone said HTC said it wasn't the battery, but just the LCD screen. So who knows what other variables are out there..but if they are all made the same then they all have the same tendency to develop the same problems.

that reminds me of a song... click here to see what song i'm talkin about
@ Raging Idiot - i'll eat crow if we ever see a recall from sprint on the mogul, but as i stated b4 i dont think that it will happen. i understand your POV and your arguement as to why it should be recalled, however i just dont see it happening. i could be wrong, and it would be nice if i was proved wrong, but alas... unfortunately i think i'm right
