constant lock ups

when i try and text i get about 3 words to type and then the phone locks up. if that was it i wouldn't be posting. it seems to be very slow opening even the settings tab. i uninstalled the only program that was put on since this happened but no help. ill prob reformat but thought id ask if anyone found a fix for this. i realize the mogul has about as much ram as paris hilton has brains, but it still shows 18 free so i don't think its a memory problem

My suggestion (especially since you said you uninstalled the only app) is to hard reset after backing up your contacts and see how it performs.

thanks does anyone know how to save my text mess from sms chat and then put then back on my new copy of sms chat

PIM backup is good. It will not back up any mms though.
