Re: Trying to learn how to Flash my HTC Titan(alltel) to work on Metro PCS.

Alright, so what I'm gathering from the files here

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...8&postcount=29

is that the 00068.zip is a PRL that you would have to load into your phone in order to use Metro's towers.

As I recall, GetSPC is a program designed to pull your PSC (A unique number for each phone) so you can in turn unlock your phone.

mms.zip seems to be the specific mms app that you would need to load into your ROM in order to get the mms to work properly.

Hard-SPL-MFG.zip is a program used to unlock your bootloader, so not to bork your phone while flashing.

SuperCID is a utility used to actually change your phone into a "Metro" phone. Sort of like a virtual SIM card for CDMA phones.

And finally, the three bottom files here

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...9&postcount=30

are the programs used to actually put the information and configurations onto the device.

I am not 100% sure of the information I've just posted above and if you choose to try and unlock your phone based on my above instructions and brick/mess up your phone, I am not responsible.

^ this is where bossman attached a bunch of files that i believe he used to convert a Titan. but there are no directions on what to do with the different programs and files.
I would call the manager. I think you are confusing warranty with insurance though. IDK

the file is called superCID your PPC. i havent tried the steps yet because my mogul was already flashed wen i got it. im jus waiting for some1 who wants their phone flashed to ask me. but the file basically tells you exactly what to do and what program to use. the programs are included in the zip. read up and follow the instructions and you should be good. let me kno how it turns out

Re: Trying to learn how to Flash my HTC Titan(alltel) to work on Metro PCS.

would anyone be willing to remote connect to my computer and try to get this thing to flash over while we talk on the phone so i can do anything you need on the phone itself?

obviously, im not going to let just anyone access my computer but someone who seems trustworthy i will give it a shot with.. hit me up.
