ok, risking the overpost thing again, but wow. this is the real thing and it looks great. I'm going to try everything out. It will take a couple days. I feel like a virgin on prom night. Thanks again.

I d/l'd it this morning and flashed it on my device. More memory than before with everything re-installed. GPS seems to work great. GOOD JOB ALLTEL!! (although a bit slow.)

I've had GPS enabled on my PPC6800 for some time now using Shadow-Tech's method to enable it. I'm running DCD 3.2.6 with Radio 3.42.50 & I'm very happy with it!
I originally wanted an official ROM but after several months I just got tired of waiting for Alltel to come out with it. This release is just too little too late.

Well I have just Installed this Rom and I will have to say I am not that impressed, i guess its the little things...like the battery doesn't decrease in increments, the alarm will not sound when the phone is on silent with this rom. Bright Side Picture messaged worked when i sent one to my email, haven't had one sent to my cell yet to see if that works. My GPS in google still hasn't connected maybe its because I am inside, I actually got better results with radio 3.42.40. DCD SPOILED ME!!!!!!

I had to redo all the agps stuff again in order to get it to work on the official rom

yea thats what i just did now it works agian, THANKS.......well so far, GPS, Threaded TXT messaging, and MMS......I'm happy now if I could get rid of some of this stuff on the rom like Axcess Shop, Alltel Navigation, getting started, msn messenger......i don't need this crap

6800 disconnects (fron sync) 10 seconds after ROM starts to load. I have NO idea why?
Has this happened to anyone else?
