Phone freezes when lock comes on

I want back to stock ROM because of some little problems I have been having with VetVito's Black Pill. My problem is that when the phone lock comes on, I have to reset the phone to unlock it. I have tried to set the password and not set a password. I even have the box unchecked to prompt for a password, and it still either prompts for a password, or freezes all together. This is the only problem I have with the stock ROM. I got the GPS working great, and everything else is good. Grrrrrr.....
