Phone freezes when lock comes on

I want back to stock ROM because of some little problems I have been having with VetVito's Black Pill. My problem is that when the phone lock comes on, I have to reset the phone to unlock it. I have tried to set the password and not set a password. I even have the box unchecked to prompt for a password, and it still either prompts for a password, or freezes all together. This is the only problem I have with the stock ROM. I got the GPS working great, and everything else is good. Grrrrrr.....

Do you have these issues on the stock ROM? I could maybe make one for you that I've found to be stable. But I'm waiting on a build refresh of 20273 myself. PM me if you want.

Well, that was one of the reasons I went back to the stock rom as well. I didn't want to have to reflash every time someone came out with a new build to fix this problem, and wait to get another build to fix a new problem. I tried new setting, so I'll see what this does. Thank you for the offer, I might tke you up on it.

Well, the main problem I had with the ROM I was using was that when I tried to use bluetooth to send a file, the phone would freeze every time. Vetvito said it was a known problem and he was working on it, but then left the Mogul world for a different phone. Also, the Comm manager screen would come up all the time, mostly after making a call. There were some other issues, just minor stuff really, but enought to make me want to try stock again. Well, now it's the freezing issue. I'm so frustrated right now. As much as we py for these phones, they should just work without a problem! I might try putting the Sprint ROM on, with the updated radio and see what that does. Who knows. If only pic messaging worked with the Palm phones with Alltel, I would have a Treo 755 right now. I loved my 680, but HATED AT&T.

Eh wait until you try 20273. Do you have your phone unlocked? I could make a nice barebones one real fast.
