Correlation between a large shell32 and HTC task manager?

I have HTC task manager on most of my flashes, and after a few hours my shell32 process goes from <1MB to 6MB-10MB. I got a refurb, and the loaded rom didn't have HTC task manager, and shell32 was normal. I updated the rom, and it was fine, until I installed HTC task manager. Now it comes default on HTC release, so I was wonder.

Can people post the amount of memory shell32 is using on their phones and whether or not they have HTC task manager installed?
Not after a fresh reset either, after it's been of for a few hours.
