Intenret Sharing no longer working after ROM?

Just upgraded (I thought) the ROM to 3.56 on my Spring Mogul. Whereas before the Internet Sharing prompt would give me options USB and Bluetooth / Use phone as modem, only USB/BT are options and I get a registration error each time I try to connect to my laptop now.
Anyone else? Thinking of downloading an older ROM to get back the internet functionality.

i just had this issue. you need to reset your epst settings

Thanks, not sure how to do that, I did the following

Menu - Options - Services Tab - Internet - Get Settings" then press start to initiate custom NAI. You should see it do a IOTA update.

and still nothing. I can get my email ,just cannot connect using my laptop to the internet.
Any other suggestions?

wait....so your phone can access the internet, but when you try to tether to your computer then the internet doesnt work on the computer?

Wish this site worked on the PDA ;(

But yes, I can pull up the internet on the PDA, get email, send, email, but cannot tether(?) to my laptop as before.
Before I had the option of USE PDA AS MODEM, I no longer see that option. Did it move?

Do the following reg edit.
InternetSharing WM 6.1:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing]
Highlight InternetSharing then delete "Extension"="rilphone.dll"
Then highlight "settings" and edit the dial "Phone as Modem" to "Sprint PCS"

Then just use it as usual.

I did not see anything about InternetSharing

You need to edit your registry using one of the programs that was given in that link. Basically the registry is like a hive of configuration files that you use to edit your phone's hidden settings.
