Re: WM 6.1 Upgrade.

Well, I had a today screen issue after my upgrade as well. I have been running the snazazy HTC HOME (the one with the big clock) until now. After my update to 6.1 the HTC Home plugin turns my sprint mogul into a brick. Completely unresponsive to anything short of a hard reset...not all to happy about it all. Anyone else run into this?

Re: WM 6.1 Upgrade.

Particular versions of the HTC Home plugin don't work with WinMo 6.1. If you download the HTC Home Customizer (www.pocketemu.com), and download the Plugin from that program (uninstall any HTC Home Plug you have, download and install HHC, and it will download HTC Home Plug for you automatically)

As for the first post, the home screen you were likely seeing was for Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. As a pocket PC with a touch screen, we use Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.

Re: WM 6.1 Upgrade.

I also have a mogul with the same problem with the today screen. I'm running 6.1 professional and I still have the old today screen. Is there a step I'm forgetting in order to fix this?

Have a look at the Manilla 2D Touchflow thread in the upgrades forum. It completely changes the Today screen. You could also look into SPB Shell, or Throttle Launcher.

As far as I know, there's no way to get the WinMo Standard version of the Today screen on a PPC
