Mogul As Modem

I have sprint and when i tried to connect it gives me an error code saying that the sprint pcs username or passwords wrong how can i fix this????

AH MAYBE ONCE AND FOR ALL I CAN HELP SOMEONE! HEHEHE!ANYWAYS YOU CAN'T FIND THE PHONE AS MODEM IN THE SETTINGS. YOU NEED TO GO TO PRGRAMS-INTERNET SHARING-THEN YOU WILL SEE THE PHONE AS MODEM. SWITCH THAT TO SPRINT PCS. ALSO YOU WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD A REGISTRY EDITOR TO EDIT A FEW THINGS. LOOK FOR REGISTRY EDITS IN THE SOFTWARE FORUM AND DOWNLOAD RESCOE EXPLORER.
YOU WILL NEED TO DELETE THE "EXTENSION" IN YOUR REGISTRY. I FORGOT WHERE IN THE REGISTRY THIS IS BUT SEARCH FOR A CAB FOR TETHERING AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUST DOWNLOAD THAT AND IT DOES ALL THE EDITS FOR YOU. ALSO SEARCH FOR WMWIFIrouter cab v.91 (with the adhoc) and download that to use the wifi connection. its the best. that programs your ppc to what it needs for you to just install and use! hope that helps a little

I have PdaNet on my Mogul and it works perfectly but...will Sprint charge me for using this feature?

Here's how I got my Mogul to work as a modem. I didn't need to edit the registry either.

downloaded PdaNet
downloaded Activesync (PdaNet uses activesync)
hooked my phone up to my computer
ran PdaNet on my computer which automatically put it onto my phone

I called Sprint trying to figure out how to make mine work as a modem and they told me I needed to have a special plan (extra $40 a month IIRC) to use that feature.

I've haven't tried any other way.
