i went thru the tutorial and im at the part where i need to access the epst settings and its like its gone.anybody help with this

u jumped into the deep end before u could swim. u need either a new friend or to do alot of research.

u should know a few things. these phones are very complex. there are 3 ROMs to these phones.
1. System ROM (this is the operating system, the programs, settings, etc)
2. Radio ROM (this is the phone OS, meaning the part that controls the data and voice)
3. Extended ROM (this is the carrier specific files/programs/settings)

the nbh files are ROMs. u do not open them. you flash them to ur phone. you can get nbh files from a few different places. you can build one. also called cooking a rom using a kitchen.

you can extract one from an offical carrier download.


the ruu stuff is the flashing program. that is what u use to flash roms. by putting a nbh file in that folder and running the exe. it will flash what u put in that folder.

zack, when u boot up ur phone it shows some important info. when it is booting up on the right hand side there are some letters and numbers. what does it say after the 'R'?
what does it say after the 'D'?

im trying to make sure that u still a recognizable radio.
