Re: How to tether (modem) HTC 6800 with OS X,
2 posts and you don't know any better.
This thread is closed until further notice, because of the fact that this sounds like a request for warez. Thank you for understanding, and a course of action will be conducted in due time. Edit: Thread reopened, enjoy and good luck! ~Wideawake

Re: How to tether (modem) HTC 6800 with OS X,
Is there a way to use the internet sharing program. I can't believe that it is so simple with a pc but so difficult with a mac.

Re: How to tether (modem) HTC 6800 with OS X,
For once, something is easier to do on a PC.

Re: How to tether (modem) HTC 6800 with OS X,
I find most things are easier to do on a Windows PC rather than a PC running OSX. Sure, the interface for basic stuff is idiot-proof on an Apple but when you actually want to do something outside the norm it's a pain in the ***. At least with Windows there is usually a way to do whatever you want even if it's not as simple as pointing at a picture of what you want on a screen.

Re: How to tether (modem) HTC 6800 with OS X,
Ummm depends on the user I guess...
I had tethering working on OSX through bluetooth WAY before I had it going on windows. As long as you understand the concept of what you are doing, and know both systems...and I mean actually know osx like you know windows, its simple. |
