Re: How to get rid of Pocket CM built on Kitchen to use Icontact?
I could not uninstall it, but I managed to point the Icontact.exe file to the "contacts" button. I searched on the registry for the key "windows\pocketcm.exe" and replaced for "Program Files\Icontact\Icontact.exe" It worked! Pocket CM still there, but my default contacts is Icontact now.

As I said before, whatever you cook in the ROM cannot be uninstalled. You can use another program and change that app to be the default (as you have done) but it cannot be uninstalled.
Think of it as cross-genetics. You can splice and create something but you cannot uncreate it. It would have to be destroyed and recreated |
