Please Help

I know im going to get yelled at for this but i know its out there just i cant find it with search, i need a tutorial on how to install custom roms. ive read alot about unlocking and i used nuespl and it work flawlessly. i want either dcd or no2chem (if theres bettrer ones please tell me) and i thenk with dcd i need hardspl instead of nuespl. please point me to that thread about this, ive already read http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=33857 but im not completely sure if i have to put a posted custom rom in the kitchen or if has its own "installer". im also confused about RUU and weather or not i have to use that to install a custom rom or if i use the kitchen.

Just fyi im not interested in cooking my own rom i just want one other than alltels that will give me more ram available.
