My 8 gig Sandisk card works fine ever since I installed the SDHC driver, before that my Verizon XV 6800 only recognized 1/2 of it.

And once VZW comes up with a new ROM update, you won't have to worry about installing that driver for the SDHC cards. Plus my friend is also running an 8GB with no issues on his xv6800.

i do have one quick question. if i get a NEW 8 gig card and copy everything (all folders)from my OLD 4 gig card to the NEW 8 gig card - will i need to re-install the programs i saved to my memory card. Most of my games, i have installed to the storage card.

I just copied the contents of my 6GB card to my new 8GB card, and everything works fine, with no re-installation required.
