6800 Auto Shutoff

Sure I have to compare features to my to be sold Blackberry Pearl. I love this new phone but the the one feature I miss is the Schedualed shutoff. I could set a time of day/week to automaticaly shut it off. Does any one know of a program that can do this. I tried AutoFlight but it just shuts the display off-not as advertised to shut down the whole unit.
Thanks for any hints.

Do you want the radio to shut off or the entire phone?

Re: 6800 Auto Shutoff

I would like the entire phone. The idea is that I save battery (less recharging) and no one disturbes me untill I turn the phone back on. With the BB it would auto on/off by selected time. It was nice because it ment no after hrs calls from work to my cell. And I only charged once a week.

Re: 6800 Auto Shutoff

I also have been looking for something simular. To save the battery, I'd like to be able to schedule the shut down and start up of the phone so that I can have it shut off in the evening automatically and start up automatically in the morning. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Re: 6800 Auto Shutoff

Well, from my experience, there is no real way to actually shut the mogul off. The closest you can come is to turn off Bluetooth, radio, wifi, etc.

I do this with SPB Phone Suite. I program a profile to turn everything off, as well as backlight, at a specific time, and turn it back on at a specific time. It works GREAT.

Hope this helps.
