I agree- the threaded texting is great but typing lag stinks.

I think this is just another reason I'll give my wife to get the new Touch Pro!

Hmm it wasn't laggy when I ran kitchen. Maybe flash a different ROM and try that.

It is pretty easy. The tutorial is in my signature. The hardest part is the initial unlock, radio flash. After you do that you do not have to do it again. Rea quick and easy to build and flash a ROM.

An easier way than that you can install the cab file that I attached and it will do the reg edit for you.
Ive included two of them. One to disable and one to enable for future use.
I havent tested them because my screen is currently broken. If any problems let me know.

Pretty sure that you could even uninstall right after you soft reset and it would still work.
