Need help with GPS on Verizon

I just got my xv6800 yesterday. I spent a good 2 hours browsing, reading, and learning since there is a lot more involved coming from a XV6700.

I followed what I think are the proper steps:
Upgrade bootloader (success with Nuespl 2.47 over sd card)
Upgrade to latest radio 3.42.50 (via sd card, success)
Put phone into bootloader, built 20270 kitchen with BuildOS.

Everything went fine, I'm running the new ROM fine. The only thing that isn't working is GPS. Google maps can't connect. I've checked the settings for External GPS, did the QPST fix http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...me=TitanGpsFix

Google Maps just times out after about 5 minutes, and pulls up the GPS help page.

Should I try a new ROM?

Thanks
