sprint tv

ok new at this so laugh if you must. i've read half the stuff in here and just got a headache! so now i know you all are alot smarter than me, so figure this out.... i downloaded the rom update for my mogul. it gave me sprint tv, sprint navigation..... but when i watch sprint tv it has to stop and reload the channel ever 5-10 seconds.. its horrible 5-10 seconds then 30 seconds of loading. it sucks. someone help please! oh and yes like a dummy im paying for it. but not for much longer if i can't fix it. oh and sprint techs HA! no help there!

Re: sprint tv

Have you tried in different locations? Sprint TV works best when in a Rev A area.

Also have you checked if Rev A is enabled in your EPST.

Re: sprint tv

I always come here before I call Sprint. Their techs just read off flashcards anyways. A monkey could do their job, lol. I would say if you are having this kind of problem you need to check your reception. Also you need to make sure you are connected to EVDO instead of 1x. Sprint TV is more than likely not the problem but if you are having good reception I would try downloading Sprint TV from here and reloading it. You still pay for Sprint TV, you need a better plan.

Re: sprint tv

I'd have to agree with the above - sprint TV should throttle itself to run fairly smoothly on any EV link, rev-A not needed. Works fine for me off the stock 6.1 rom.

Now, if you are somehow running something in the background (RSS feed loader?) that could cause it, but its doubtful. Try a SOFT reset and the run sprint tv, see if that helps (assuming you've not got a nasty 1X on the top bar, meaning no EVDO...)

Re: sprint tv

also you may have a lot of ram being used hence the soft reset and rev a means nothing for sprint tv since it relies on down speeds and rev a speeds up up speads

Re: sprint tv

i am not sure if your saying your offended or you dont know what a soft reset it but a soft reset is when you stick your stylus into the whole below your sd card and it restarts your phone you should do this 1 or 2 times a day or when your phone starts to lag
