Predictive Text

Please help me. Is there anyway to cut the Predictive text off in messaging. It is a pain in my bum. I sent my wife a f%&kyou by accident she was not to happy and it is always picking the wrong words not the one i am typing. So if there is a way to disable it on my titan i would be most thankful.

start>settings>input>word completion uncheck "Suggest words when entering text" and then "Clear Stored Entries".
