From what I've read, that cannot be done. You will need some kind of wifi connection card for your desktop.

Thanks for the replies. I'm gonna pick up a wireless usb adapter for the pc, seems less hassle.

But it should also work with more "interesting" combinations like: VPN to Wifi - get wireless clients onto a VPN Wifi to Bluetooth - allow bluetooth network devices to access a WLAN. Wifi to USB - basically the pda acts as a wireless network card for the pc Seems to be what you need. |

I'm tethering through my router using WMWIFIRouter. If you check out the Knowledge Base on the WMWiFiRouter website it tells you how to do it.

And you could stop being cheap and buy a cheap Linksys WRT54G or something and use DD-WRT to extend the range. *snicker*
