Mogul stuck on Windows Live Sign-in screen

I was in the middle of setting up my msn email thru windows live. I got to the 2nd screen where your required to sign-in with yur email and password. for some reason the block to type the first part of your email address doesnt recognize text, no matter if I use QWERTY or the onscreen keyboard. When I try to press cancel, the screen only flashes then appears again. I have done several soft resets, screen still appears. I cant even make a phone call on my mogul, when I press the phone button the on screen keyboard flashes then that Window live screen appears. I'm hoping I dont have to do a hard reset as I havent had the chance to save my contacts on my PC yet.

Any suggestions or help is appreciated

Ummm, this may be a dumb question, but did you tap on that block to make sure the cursor was in it to type?

yea the cursor was there. I got rid of the screen finally.

I turned the phone off for an hour and turned it back on and the screen was gone. All is good with my mogul again.
